The Sugar Sand Park Field House is home to several classes of varying types.

 

Online Registration
As you browse through the classes we offer at the Field House, should you find a class you'd like to register for you can always register in person at the Field House at Sugar Sand Park. However, we are now proud to offer online registration through WebTrac. To initially set up your online user name and password you will have to stop by the Field House or any City of Boca Raton Community Center to prove residency. After that you will have the ability to register for all the classes we have to offer online.

Boot Camp

Date: April 24, 2012
Meets: Mondays & Wednesdays | 8:30 am - 9:30 am. Sundays | 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Get ready for the beach in this fun and challenging total body conditioning class. Rock your core while building lean muscle, increasing strength, endurance, flexibility and speed all in one class! All levels of fitness welcome. Bring a set of light (3-5 lbs) and medium (8-10 lbs) hand weights and a mat. That's all you need. Let's do this!

C.O.B.R.A. Itty Bitty Hockey

Date: July 6, 2011
Meets: Fridays | 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
This program teaches children the basic motor skills to play hockey while being indoors in tennis shoes. The class will also focus on fundamentals and knowledge of the game without the threat of competition or getting hurt. Sticks and other supplies provided. (AGES 3-5)

Jazzercise: Body Sculpting

Sculpted arms, a strong core, tight glutes, and firm legs are the focus of this challenging 50-minutes muscle toning workout that features a creative combination of weight training and stretching. First class free.

Fit Mom-to-Be Workout

Meets: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 8:45 am - 9:25 am
Stay active and fit during your pregnancy. A challenging, safe workout to increase muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Enjoy meeting other moms-to-be in this total body workout that focuses on a combination of strength training moves, low-impact cardio and stretching. Doctors’ written release is required at registration. First class is free.

Fit Mom Boot Camp

This workout is perfect for moms who want to lose weight, strengthen and tone their body. Have fun meeting other moms with their babies/toddlers. This bootcamp class focuses on a variety of low-impact cardio drills, strength training exercises and core strengthening to get you energized and back in shape! Doctors’ written release is required at registration if baby is less than 8 weeks old. First class is free.

Parkinson's Exercise Class

This program is designed for people with Parkinson's. Components of this program provide exercises that work to improve one's balance, flexibility and muscle strength. This program is available to people of all ages and runs continuous. Taylored Athletes: Basketball

The TA Basketball Fundamentals and Elite Training program is designed to bring high-quality instruction to aspiring young professional athletes. We focus primarily on enhancing each athlete's Fundamentals Skills, Basketball IQ, and Self Empowerment all while reinforcing the fundamentals of basketball. The program focuses on teaching children and their parents basic sports mechanics without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. The C.O.B.R.A.: Start Smart - Baseball session is currently only offered January - March. (AGES 3-5)
