The
Field House
The Field House (gymnasium) is
located at the west end of the park between the
Inline Roller Hockey rink and the Community Center.
Hours of operation: Monday–Saturday 8am–10:30pm
Sunday 10am–5pm
The Field House is not only
the home of several sports, tournaments and special
events throughout the year, but it also offers
regular classes and activities for people of all
ages to enjoy.
The Field House is also open to the public to play
pick-up basketball or volleyball at various times
each week. A monthly schedule of open play times and
a phone number (347-3915), updated weekly, has been
set up to update open play times. |
Inline Skate Hockey Rink
The Inline
Roller Hockey rink is located on the west end of the
park adjacent to the park entrance and the field
house. This is a dual facility that has three full
court basketball courts.
The
rink is open: Monday–Saturday 8am–10pm Sunday
8am–park closing (6pm or 8pm, depending on the time
of year).
This
state of the art facility is home to the Youth
Roller Hockey League, as well as several local
schools roller hockey programs. For information on
the Youth Roller Hockey League, please call
347-3908. When the rink is not reserved, it is open
to the public for open inline skating, hockey, or
basketball. Full equipment must be worn for open
skating or hockey. Please see the required
equipment list posted on the bulletin board. A
schedule of open play hours is posted each month on
the bulletin board and an a copy is available in the
Field House.

Baseball Fields
Sugar
Sand Park has six lighted baseball fields,
including: four little league fields and two high
school fields which are home
to Boca Raton Youth Baseball, Boca Raton Youth
Athletic Association, travel baseball and several
tournaments throughout the year. Sugar Sand Park
boasts some of the most meticulously maintained
baseball facilities in Florida.
The ball fields are open: Monday-Saturday from
8am–11pm Sunday 8am–posted park closing time (6pm or
8pm).
Fields 1–4 are Little League size fields and are
located directly across from the park entrance. High
school size fields 5 & 6 are located at the eastern
end of the park (left after entrance).
Four lighted batting cages were added for those who
want to work on their hitting skills. One set of
cages are located between fields 1 & 4. Another set
is located between fields 5 & 6.
