Kids Run Club

Date: January 5, 2015
Meets: Tuesdays, & Thursdays | 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm
Looking for a healthy and active extracurricular activity for your child? Runner's Edge Boca and Run for Funds Florida has teamed up with the City of Boca Raton to bring you an exceptional kids running program for ages 7-11. It is a 8 week program that practices Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm at the Spanish River Athletic Complex (across from Spanish River Library).

Futsal

Date: November 24, 2014
Meets: Thursdays | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Futsal is one of the fastest growing sports in the world! Essentially, Futsal is indoor soccer. The name "Futsal" comes from the merging of the Spanish/Portuguese words for football (Futbol or Futebol) and the French or Spanish word for "Indoor" (Salon or Sala). Futsal is a great skill developer for children as it demands quick reflexes, fast thinking, and pinpoint passing. The game develops close individual ball skills as the court is small and players are forced into limited space & option scenarios.

COBRA Minis Review

Date: November 24, 2014
Meets: Thursdays | 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
This program teaches children the basic motor skills necessary to play organized sports while they work one-on-one and spend quality time with their parents. The program focuses on teaching children and their parents basic sports mechanics without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. This program will review all the COBRA Minis classes offered throughout the year including basketball, football, baseball, soccer and golf. (AGES 3-5)

Fit Mom-to-Be Workout

Date: November 24, 2014
Meets: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 8:45 am - 9:25 am
Stay active and fit during your pregnancy. A challenging, safe workout to increase muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Enjoy meeting other moms-to-be in this total body workout that focuses on a combination of strength training moves, low-impact cardio and stretching. Doctors’ written release is required at registration. First class is free.

Fit Mom Boot Camp

Meets: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:30 am - 10:20 am
This workout is perfect for moms who want to lose weight, strengthen and tone their body. Have fun meeting other moms with their babies/toddlers. This bootcamp class focuses on a variety of low-impact cardio drills, strength training exercises and core strengthening to get you energized and back in shape! Doctors’ written release is required at registration if baby is less than 8 weeks old. First class is free.

Parkinson's Exercise Class

This program is designed for people with Parkinson's. Components of this program provide exercises that work to improve one's balance, flexibility and muscle strength. This program is available to people of all ages and runs continuous.
