WOMEN IN THE VISUAL ARTS INC., encourages young artists each year by sponsoring this unique exhibition. Since 1997 WITVA has awarded over $462,000 in scholarships and awards to outstanding Palm Beach County high school art students.

Lorrie B. Turner

Exhibition dates: April 10-May 6

Lorrie took her first ‘professional’ lesson at age eight and had her first exhibition by age twelve. Her subjects: the urban landscape, seascapes, still life, and an endless variety of subjects and environments.

Mary Christou

Exhibition dates: April 10-June 5

Mary Christou creates high quality art jewelry, often with recycled materials. Inspired by Steampunk, fairy tales, all things Medieval and Arthurian, nature, & Art Nouveau.

Coral Springs Artists Guild

Exhibition dates: May 9-June 5

Opening Reception Sat, May 11 at 1:30pm

Coral Springs Artist Guild is a non-profit organization

whose sole purpose is to foster, encourage, and facilitate

interest in the fine arts. The Guild provides Scholar

awards to budding young artists in our community.

Sugar Sand Park Community Center

Art in Public Places Exhibitions

The Community Center participates in Art in Public Places, a public program whereby artists can exhibit works free of charge in a public space. We accept applications from individuals and groups inside or outside the City of Boca Raton. Artists may submit work in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, glass, jewelry, pottery, and multimedia.

For exhibition consideration please return the Artist Application, Waiver of Liability and Regulation Agreement.
