Hans Christian Andersen's tale of adventure comes to life in this musical adaptation.  Gerda must save her friend, Kay, who has become enchanted and can see no good in the world.  Gerda seeks help from a talking (and singing) crow, the notorious (and comic) Robber Prince, and a Reindeer Herder (and her audience participant reindeer), as they try to save Kay from the mysterious Snow Queen. Rated G

Come enjoy an art form that builds on a 2,600+ year old tradition of Japanese drumming. The music combines the traditional drums and rhythms of Japan with musical styles from around the world to create an exciting, powerful, cross-cultural experience that strives to cross boundaries and connect cultures. Fun Chefs Academy of Cooking        Ages 5-12

A culinary winter wonderland! We will spend our time creating delicious “winter-themed” recipes and treats. Students may bring a snack or substitute meal if they wish. Wear close-toed shoes, tie back hair, bring a water bottle, bathing suit, and towel. Min-10; Max-24

Bright & Smart Coding,  Robotics & Engineering                  Ages 7-14
All good engineers know coding is the language of computers. Using state of the art hardware and software, students will design, create and learn to communicate with their computer. This will allow them to code, design, and program their own animations. Each day has a different focus, and together with access tools like special sets of Lego bricks, 3D printers, and laptop computers, kids will learn all of the individual skills of being an Engineer! These diverse courses will guide your child to develop basic engineering skills by teaching them how to create, build, and program robots along with unique parts, animations, and more. Project Fashion Design & Sewing                   Ages 8-16

A day for young fashionistas who want to learn to design and sew their own clothing. Explore sewing while learning to make a simple garment or accessory. There are different projects allowing students to continue enhancing their skill levels. Note: A few sewing machines will be made available for use in class, but you are welcome to bring your own as long as it is in good working condition. Materials included. Bring a brown bag lunch or snack.  Min-3; Max-10

Digital Art In A Day                                              Ages 6-12

Participants will learn how to animate using traditional 2D animation.  We will review the 12 principles of animation to create realistic movements.  Students will learn how to storyboard their ideas, create a 2D animated bouncing ball, and create a 3D animation using Autodesk Maya 2017.  They will walk away with a portfolio and new skills related to today’s society. Bring a lunch, drinks, and snacks. Min-5; Max-15
