Friday Night at the Museum

For those ages 7 - 12, you are invited to wear comfy clothes as we get a chance to hang out in the Explorium "after hours"! Enjoy special access to exhibits and staff. Pizza will be served; we'll watch a movie and do a fun experiment. Pre-registration is required.

Weekend Demo Saturday

Recommended for ages 7+. Join the Explorium staff as we dig a little deeper into some exciting scientific principles! We'll spark your curiosity during these FREE 30 minute, interactive, demonstrations. Engaging explanations combine with audience participation to create an enjoyable learning experience for everyone!

(Recommended for Ages 7+) Join us for an intro to astronomy! These FREE, informal events are held in the Camino parking lot behind the Explorium, weather permitting, where will explore the skies with our professional-grade 16-inch Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. In the case of poor weather, we’ll take a fantastic journey through the sky in our indoor, inflatable STARLAB planetarium.
